Persona:

Meisterin Adelheid Leinwater

I was born in Nürnberg, which was part of the Holy Roman Empire in the Germanic lands, on December 21, 1500.  My father was a linen weaver and my mother a devoted wife of good Catholic faith.  My mother instilled in me the duties of a good daughter and future wife from birth.  I learned how to manage a household from tending our garden, cooking, cleaning and basic domestic arts.  I am good with a needle although embroidery is not my favorite.  She also taught me how to behave in public among any class.  I learned my place, as an upper class merchant’s daughter, however she taught me the ways of the Imperial Court.  With the Blasphemous reformation, I was sent to a convent in Tuscany to broaden my education.  While in Tuscany, I studied music and learned to enamel glass.  There I was introduced to my now husband.  I am married to an officer of the Italian militia in service to Charles V.  We have been graced with a beautiful son.  We
currently reside in the Barony of Darkwater where I assist in their Excellencies court with the children.
