Short Narrative

Mittion mighty,
    Most Fair Brigit Chaillin
With Ancestors sleep,
    Sealed in deepings dark.
At table, they play.
    Praise their lives and crown.
Trimaris, fairest of all,
    Their parting enflames
Gunnar, redbelted,
    Brandishing wound-wand,
Anastasiya’s heart
Hard won by wit and blade.
Proclaimed these two nobles,
    Trimaris’ voice,
Battle-song silenced
    Wound-dancing ceased
Ring-givers were these
    Gunnar, Anastasiya
Great ranks did grant they
    ‘Pon Gentles deserving
From Trimaris’ fens
    Fully deserving
Called they forth gentles
    Gentles praise-worthy
Roland de Carre,
    Regal and knightly,
Bold belt of bone-white
    Brought forth for his girding.
Bold in the battle-play,
    This boon of the raven.
Granted his due, this
    Defender of Crowns
Service unceasing
    Should e’er be rewarded
Pious Pelican
    Proclaimed regal pair
Maredudd ap Cynan
    Called hence a Master
Without sacrifice
    Sure dies the dream
Dawn ever dying
    Days were determined
Gunnar, Anastasiya
    Ancestors should join
Bytor and Astrith
    Mighty and beauteous
Throne of the Hurricane
    With Cannons shall claim

Long Narrative

Mittion mighty,
    Most Fair Brigit Chaillin
With Ancestors sleep,
    Sealed in deepings dark.
At table, they play.
    Praise their lives and crown.
Trimaris, fairest of all,
    Their parting enflames
Trimaris, war-torn,
    trembles as throaty call of
Roaring Battle-racket
    raises Odin’s daughters.
For three-sea’d throne,
    Sought by two great halls,
Leads to blood by bloody
    Battle-play spilled.
Gunnar, redbelted,
    Brandishing wound-wand,
Anastasiya’s heart
Hard won by wit and blade.
Proclaimed these two nobles,
    Trimaris’ voice,
Battle-song silenced
    Wound-dancing ceased
She, daughter of Ravens,
    Deemed third of her name,
And Gunnar, principled,
    Redoubt-holding prince.
Two noble souls they,
    Who sealed peace-pacts with rings.
Trimaris to save
Sought they with shed blood ceasing.
In Fair Three-sea’d kingdom,
    Salt-spray’s sons and daughters
Rejoiced ‘neath bright heav’n.
    Returned were the days
Of free-flowing mead.
    Men beat plowshares from swords.
Trimaris remained,
    As ever, triumphant
Ring-givers were these
    Gunnar, Anastasiya
Great ranks did grant they
    ‘Pon Gentles deserving
From Trimaris’ fens
    Fully deserving
Called they forth gentles

Bold belt of bone-white
    Brought forth for his girding.
Bold in the battle-play,
    This boon of the raven.
Granted his due, this
    Defender of Crowns
Others were granted
    Gracious Sif’s locks.
Lords and Ladies for
    Largesse did cry.
Not disappointing;
    Doling rings ever
Gold-givers were these,
    Gunnar, Anastasiya
Service unceasing
    Should e’er be rewarded
Pious Pelican
